Write a Letter Using Robust Vocabulary Words!

Your challenge this week is to use our vocabulary words in writing.  Write a letter to a friend in which you describe a slick car you have seen or a computer game that really impressed you. Use as many vocabulary words from this week as you can in your letter.  See Ms. Deats' example.

Watch this video, and think about what the students are doing and why.  Then, describe what you observe in the video.  Use short, strong, sentences with robust vocabulary to paint a picture with your words.

Day Nine of Fourth Grade

As we discussed in class, it is not just characters that have traits.  A classroom of students has traits too.  Watch the video of our ninth day of fourth grade.  Think about what traits make our class unique.  Then compose a comment that describes a trait of our class.  Support the trait you select with details from the video.
