Ms. Deats' Language Arts Class Information

Homework: 

• Nearly every Monday to Thursday evening there is homework.

• In addition, students should be encouraged to read a text of their choice for at least 20 minutes per night.  Suitable texts include:  graphic novels, comic books, chapter books, world record books, magazines, newspapers, reading a story to a younger sibling, etc.

Communication:

• I have an "open-classroom" policy.  Mi clase es su clase.  A parent or guardian never needs an invitation to visit my classroom.  

• I hold office hours for one-hour after school on Thursdays.  Feel free to pop in to have a face to face talk!
